DEAR MR. PRESIDENT

One year in office and now the president reveals himself. Socialism started in Eastern Europe with the Russian Revolution eventually leading to Stalin and a brutal dictatorship. It is likely he will not be reelected and there is a fair chance the Republican party will prevail in the fall elections taking back the Senate and possibly the House. However the damage will have been done with a forced healthcare a majority does not want and reckless spending on a scale unimaginable.

Why does America continue to live in the 19^th Century militarily? In 1945 America ended the “GREAT WORLD WAR” in Japan by dropping a nuclear bomb over Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We do not need nuclear bombs to deal with Iraq and Afghanistan. We need a new military concept of fighting terrorist’s world wide. Israel built a wall between the Palestinian State and their own but nothing was done to deal with terrorists figuring out a way to overcome this system. Motion detectors and devices to prevent terrorists from penetrating Israeli borders were not taken into account making the wall in the near future nearly useless. The mind set of the designers was 19^th century concepts even earlier as the Great Wall of China was built to deter invaders.

 WAKE UP AMERICA 

What are all the creative people working at the Pentagon doing each day? In all likelihood probably studying historical military tactics from Alexander the Great and leading to the wars in Iraq. They fine tune their pencils and their brains studying all the “great” military tactics and how they can improve them. Wake up staff and go to another dimension. During the Second World War our concept of “they are expendable” especially the US Marine Corps actually worked and America accepted those tactics. Our officers just had waive after waive of soldiers march forward until the battle was won usually at the cost of thousands of casualties, just like Alexander, just like Napoleon. We do not need this ancient form of warfare today.

 WE DON’T NEED TO HAVE AN OCCUPATION IN THE 21ST CENTURY 

We have the weaponry to have a small force occupy a country like Iraq/Afghanistan and if we lost twenty soldiers in a single year that would be a lot! Wake up America and use the skills and new tacticians that probably have discussed these thoughts (my thoughts) but those higher up have likely put down due to being basically brain dead militarily. Might I even suggest those at the top possibly looking the other way or even paid off by special interest groups not to move forward because it might affect certain providers of the military with equipment, useless out of date weaponry and lose business as a result?  

WHAT WEAPONDRY? WHAT CONCEPTS? 

THE SUPER FORTREESS

Build six (or whatever number is needed) super fortress centers strategically placed throughout Iraq & Afghanistan. These centers will have an air base capable of flying all aircraft to deal with any kind of firepower needed as called for. The base will have a fleet of drones all with laser and missal capabilities. Working with our satellite eyes in the heavens and the Iraqi & Afghanistan military these bases can deal with most insurrections.  

GET RID OF EVERYTHING ELSE 

Get rid of all military vehicles, ground weapons, troops “on the ground.”  It’s that simple, stop our military loss’s now! Improve the drone concepts to include laser fire and other weaponry capable of putting down terrorist resistance throughout the countries.  

AND IF IT FAILS 

If it fails it will because the Iraqi people continue to fight amongst themselves just like our Civil war except theirs is the ancient fight over different religious concepts. It will fail because they in reality don’t give a damn for America or a forced democracy they might not want. 

ABANDON THE IRAQI/AFGAN PEOPLE? 

Not really, keep the Super Fortress’s and allow the people of Iraq & Afghanistan to move close enough to these fortress’s to live in peace even if it means abandoning Bagdad and leaving this Capital and other major cities to those who wish to destroy each other.
