The Scarlet Pimpernel in real life considers himself to be just a hard working American who loves his country and after a lifetime of work has achieved the American Dream. 
In reality he is just Middle America, you might find him at your favorite restaurant, Disneyland a vacation resort, on the beach, just anywhere and you would see him like yourself, another American enjoying our liberties and hoping for a better America. He does not seek his “five minutes of fame” and thus The Scarlet Pimpernel a favorite fictional hero of the writer is reborn.

The writer’s family dates back to 15th Century Bari Italy where as a family of nobility they farmed a large area of land and oversaw the various businesses' in and around their domain. A principal responsibility was collecting taxes for The Vatican and things went well until the late 19th Century. Instructed by the Pope to significantly raise taxes from the farmers and merchants my Great-Great Grandfather refused, was labeled a revolutionary and was banned from Italy.

The family arrived at Ellis Island and entered into the life of a resurgent New York. They changed their name as it sounded like the nobility.

The writer hopes to spark a grassroots movement to change the way things are in America principally corruption in the highest places and to inspire others to look to our forefathers the creators of our Constitution and their dreams of 1776.
